RTJ Abroad!
Since the end of last summer, RTJ has been out and about. WAY out. We’ve been around the world and back! Well, almost. RTJ was invited to a Global Issues Youth conference in Doha, Qatar in March to talk to students about how they can make changes in their own communities. There were lots of fantastic speakers and students from all over the world - Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Vietnam, Oman,...

Bullfrog Powered movie!
It’s official! The movie that RTJ is presenting at Princess Cinema on August 13th is going to be Bullfrog Powered! This means that for all of the electricity that is being used to power the movie, Bullfrog Power will supply the same amount of green power to the grid to offset our usage!

We had lots of press there including CTV and the local paper, the Waterloo Record. Check out the article in the Record below if you missed the event!

Training Week
Training week ‘09 is almost complete! We’ve done so much this week my brain is starting to hurt! We’ve had some amazing presentations. All of us have learned a lot about local air quality and the health impacts, climate change, community-based social marketing techniques, efficient driving and vehicle maintenance, and lots on cycling and Grand River Transit.
We also had other...

Last words before the weekend...
I thought it would be a good idea to post something before the weekend and to make a few announcements:
We had a really busy week, but it was well worth it! We sorted out some dates to events over the summer that we’re all really excited for (and that the students don’t even know about yet!). The most important one being the confirmation of our Launch Party! Everyone is welcome and...
First Post!
So this is the official first post of the Reduce the Juice Waterloo 2009 blog! We’ve always talked about having a blog - now we’re finally getting around to it! We’ve always wanted to do one because so many things happen around here, and we want to tell everyone about it! We try to keep the website as updated as possible, but this blog will be a much faster way for us to talk...
